There is a list of assignment statuses. The statuses are divided into 2 categories: billable and non-billable.
Billable statuses:
Billable — The associate is currently assigned to a client project and their work is directly billable.
Freelancer — The associate is working as a freelancer, meaning they are not a full-time employee but are contracted for specific projects or tasks.
Non-billable statuses:
Bench — The associate is currently not assigned to any active project, but is available for assignment. Currently, associate is on Bench.
Internal — The associate is working on internal projects or tasks that are not directly billable to clients. This could include company initiatives, internal development, or administrative work.
Note! For this type of assignment, the External rate should be 0.
Internship — The associate is engaged in an internship program.
Negotiation — The associate is in the process of being assigned to a project, but the final details are still being discussed or confirmed. This status indicates that they are expected to be assigned soon, pending the outcome of negotiations.
Solution Group — The associate is part of a specialized group focused on developing or delivering specific solutions, often as part of a pre-sales.
Nonbillable — The associate is working on internal developing projects (paid by company) or projects that do not generate direct revenue from clients.
Unavailable — The associate is temporarily unavailable for assignment due to reasons such as long-term leave or military leave.
The colour of assignments can be changed (Company Setting -> Roles Management) and it influences only the visual representation of the assignment in the Planner
We highly don’t recommend changing the name of assignment statuses because the Profitability and Billability reports do not work correctly
